Mohammad Zainudden Mohamad Sa'ae

Chairman

A BSc. in Mechanical Engineering graduate from University of Texas, USA, a highly experienced engineering professional with over 35 years of upstream Oil & Gas industry experience across offshore platforms, subsea facilities, and onshore terminals. Progressed through technical and leadership roles including Planning Engineer, Underwater and Topside Inspection & Maintenance Engineer, Facilities Engineer, Unit Head, FIP Lead and Subsea Operations Lead.

Extensive experience in leading multidisciplinary engineering teams, managing multiple active CAPEX projects with annual portfolios exceeding RM50 million, and directing major underwater and topside inspection and maintenance campaigns with approved contract values of over RM100 million. Demonstrates strong expertise in project execution, asset integrity, operations, maintenance, stakeholder management and delivering safe, cost-effective and reliable solutions throughout the asset lifecycle.

Samuel Kong

Chief Executive Officer

A BSc. in Mechanical Engineering graduate from Penn State, USA is a highly experienced engineering professional with over 39 years of experience in the oil and gas industry across upstream and downstream developments. His career includes 32 years with Shell & BLNG, 4 years with PETROS, and 3 years with engineering design consultant (TechnipFMC & Sime Eng), where he held technical, project management and senior leadership positions.

Samuel has extensive experience managing the full project lifecycle, from feasibility studies & FEED through detailed design, procurement, fabrication, construction, commissioning, start-up and handover for both onshore and offshore projects.

He has successfully delivered numerous multi-million-ringgit greenfield and facilities improvement projects (FIP) safely, on schedule and within budget, leading multidisciplinary EPCIC teams with zero Lost Time Injuries (LTI). His expertise spans from engineering, technical authority, subject matter expert, international exposure, communication skills, leadership, procurement, tendering, fabrication, construction, commissioning, stakeholder management and the mentoring of young engineers through Graduate Development Programmes (GDP).

As the Founder and CEO of SK ARMADA SDN.BHD, Samuel combines technical excellence with commercial insight to deliver practical engineering, project management and technical advisory solutions that create lasting value for clients across the energy industry.

Kevin Chew Soon Ann

General Manager

A BSc. in Electrical Engineering graduate from UCSI University, Kevin brings more than 20 years of experience in the energy and industrial sectors, with extensive expertise in electrical and instrumentation (E&I) engineering, project execution, contract management, testing and commissioning and maintenance. His technical experience covers high-voltage systems up to 500 kV, medium and low-voltage systems, as well as PECO engineering, with project experience across Malaysia, Brunei, and Singapore.

Throughout his career, Kevin has progressed from hands-on engineering roles to senior leadership positions, with responsibilities spanning project execution, E&I management, plant maintenance, turnaround services, business development and contract management. He has been involved in multimillion-ringgit projects, design engineering and technical services for organizations such as ABB and Fuji Electric, as well as major oil and gas facilities across the region.

As General Manager of SK ARMADA SDN. BHD, Kevin leverages his strong technical, operational and commercial expertise to enhance the company’s capabilities in engineering solutions, project delivery, customer engagement and business growth. He maintains a strong commitment to safety, quality, reliability and operational excellence across all areas of the business.

His combination of engineering knowledge, hands-on field experience, and management capabilities supports SK ARMADA’s commitment to delivering reliable and value-driven solutions to the oil and gas, energy, and industrial sectors.

Nicholas Kong

Operation & Strategy Manager

As the Operations & Strategy Manager at SK ARMADA SDN. BHD. and a Bachelor of Business Administration graduate in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from the University of South Australia, he drives operational excellence, strategic planning, and supply chain optimisation.

With an entrepreneurial mindset and expertise in business operations, E-commerce, SEO, programming and Shopify development, he leverages technology to enhance business performance and operational efficiency.

Passionate about Artificial Intelligence (AI) and digital innovation, he explores AI-powered solutions to improve productivity, automate workflows, and support data-driven decision-making. Ahmad Hafriz Bin Ismail

Business Development Manager

An Electrical & Electronic engineering graduate from UNIMAS, Hafriz is a dedicated sales professional with over 12 years of experience in the Oil & Gas Maintenance, Repair & Operations (MRO) sector. He specialises in the sales and business development of HVAC parts, control valves, industrial equipment and maintenance solutions for both onshore and offshore facilities. Throughout his career, Ahmad has built a strong reputation for developing long-term client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering value-driven solutions that support operational reliability and efficiency.
